For Episode Two, Dance/Movement Psychotherapist, Frank Farrugia joins us to talk self care – why it’s so important, how we can enable it, and how it can change our lives when we do.
Frank’s journey is fascinating to say the least, identifying as agender (or even postgender ) and recounting their upbringing in a cult-like environment through their self-discovery experience and beyond, their insights into self-care are hugely valuable.

Not the first account I have heard like this from someone of this age growing up amongst the Jehovah’s witnesses. Any idea of ‘God’ enforced by someone else externally can only be problematic unless the child is Forrest Gump. Have seen so many people battle with spiritual recovery because of some other person’s dogma imposed upon them. Who says a god or goddess of one’s own understanding can’t be into expressing themselves in a variety of ways more sympathetic to what the individual is actually struggling with.
Thanks Frank and well done on your journey.
🙂 Cheers, VT.
