Sex and Kink Professionals

With the advent of FOSTA (Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act of 2017) and SESTA (Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act) in the US legislature, online publishers are being held accountable for content created and uploaded by users, rolling back previous protections under section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA).

This has already resulted in sites like Craigslist and Reddit self-censoring, and we are now seeing backpage.com and its affiliated sites being seized and shut down by the FBI and IRS.

On the surface, the stated aim of the SESTA/FOSTA combined bill is to prevent and punish sex trafficking offences. However, many legitimate businesses are also being adversely affected, most notable professional sex workers, who are finding aveunes to advertise their services becoming more and more limited as sites look to protect themselves from legal action. US-based services such as Twitter, Instagram and many more are likely to be affected.

Fortunately, Our Kink is entirely based in Australia, hosted on Australian servers, so we are able to continue to provide a platform for professional kink and sex workers to get the word out.

So … until the end of May, Our Kink is offering Pro Kink and Sex workers a special deal if you’d like to take advantage of any of our sponsorship/advertising packages, and our business directory listings. For each letter in SESTA/FOSTA, we’re giving a percent discount on any package or business subscription. Ten Percent Off to support the right of professionals to adequately advertise like any other business.

If you’re interested, please contact us using the form on our sponsorship page or email us at admin@ourkink.com. We’ll let you know how to take advantage of this offer!
